Why History - Andy Griffith

A clip from the Andy Griffith Show; the Shot Heard 'Round the World.
Why we should study history and different stories involved in it.

Early Colonial Period

This is a video that explains why the three big countries in the 1600's (France, Britain, and Spain) colonized the Americas.  The biggest thing that we need to remember are the Three G's - God, Glory, and Gold.  This video was used in class to lead up to what we will talk about next in class -- the thirteen colonies of Great Britain.
